Kneading trough table

A low coffee table, its board and legs made out of solid wood, contains an old kneading trough incorporated amid the board. Greyish from long exposure in the open when it fell into disuse, the kneading trough emphasizes its own time provenance as it meets the fresh wood.
In a long lasting process, pebbles gathered from the island’s seashores are grouped by colour into the trough’s cavities.

Applied in the house of the winds in Santorini.
