“The use of circular form is different in the case of the open theatre inserted in an abandoned quarry at Evdilos on Ikaria Island by Kouvela. The theatre is inscribed onto the void of the quarry in order that the scene is located in the most protected part of the area while the wind strengthens then intensity of the voice carried towards the audience.” prof.
